Flooding Update

Some of your councillors spent several hours on a damp Sunday in late January inspecting and documenting the state of the village becks and culverts.  We even removed some Christmas trees whilst there. It is apparent that there will be some serious work to be done in terms of clearing built up silt and debris in the becks. We plan shortly to organise a multi agency meeting with relevant parties and present to them our findings.
We will then report back with a plan and ask for volunteers to assist us where possible with the clearing operation.  We would welcome as many people as possible who can spare their time to help.
