Village Maintenance
The parish council is very pleased to report back on the successful completion of many improvement works around the village in recent months.
At the beginning of the year, council members carried out a major inspection of the village to bring together a list of maintenance issues (most of them up to Bradford council to fix), and since that time have been meeting on a regular basis to review and chase up progress on improvement works. These works have included the clearance of Town Beck and blocked drainage channels, the filling of potholes in roads and footpaths, and the painting and repair of fencing and seating around the village. There is work still to be done, specifically on tree maintenance and hedge trimming, and members are shortly to carry out a further inspection to make sure that our village is maintained as effectively as possible.
If you spot any issues or problems, please report them direct to Bradford using the online form on their website – please also email the parish clerk on clerk@addingham-pc.gov.uk so that the council website page can be updated and the council can continue to monitor progress.
